Growing in Faith, Growing in Christ

Pearson Education has provided the attached flyer as a communication piece to help the families in Dufferin-Peel celebrate their faith together using the Growing in Faith, Growing in Christ resources that are available on the Student-Home website.  The flyer highlights the multimedia found on the website and includes login information for the Growing in Faith, Growing in Christ primary grades that has been implemented.

Ready, Set, Read! Summer Reading Program

Each week for 6 weeks, Dufferin-Peel teachers will be modelling and demonstrating a variety of reading comprehension strategies during read-aloud sessions. Participants will receive a “Parent Toolkit” and “Student Toolkit” to help support reading throughout the summer.  The program is offered to students in Grades 1,2 and 3 and their families.  These 1 hour sessions will take place at various library locations in Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon and Orangeville.  For mor information see the newsletter below.  To register online click the link provided below.
